Birthday, Carousels, and Trampolines!

Amidst the massive malls, with sonically loud music, lazy shoppers, exploding arcades and weird animal rides (i will explain some other time) we found a piece of serene beauty, a breath of fresh air as if all the stars were aligned in our favor. In most people's minds this would be a gorgeous sunset at the park or an expansive view of the ever-reaching ocean from a towering cliff. However, in what has become our general state of mind, what we found would not fit the usual notion of peace.

We found a juggernaut of a jungle gym, tucked in the back corner of the world's largest Ace Hardware store. Full of screaming kids, swinging padded things, and colorful plastic playroom balls, this beast was a welcomed sight as we are constantly in search of ways to entertain our "spirited" child, Judah. Spirited has become our euphemism for possibly, hyperactive, relentlessly energized or frantically fidgety, feverishly frenzied, freak of a child.

I did not have my camera on me but I took a video of this experience with my phone. We have definitely learned that Judah is afraid of nothing and is capable of pushing his way through anything to get what he wants.

here is another video of Judah riding a carousel at the same mall. He seemed to really enjoy it! Again, it was taken with my phone so I apologize for the quality.

Here are some pictures from Judah's birthday party about 2 months ago. I forgot to post them. We just had a few of Judah's friends over. Isabella, Kiana, Kolea, Nea, and Nolan, and Pramana, apparently the only two boys born in Indonesia around the same time as Judah.

Judah giving Nolan the death stare. "No longer can you push me around!"

Judah and Pramana, the most intense Indonesian ever.
